Exhumation All procedures and work aimed at removing the mortal remains from the grave and reburial in another place or conducting investigative experiments with them are called exhumation.This procedure is performed only when recommended by law enforcement bodies or at the request of the relatives of the deceased person.Exhumation is necessary in cases when it is needed to verify and confirm the cause of death of the deceased person, his identity, as well as on the basis of individual desire of relatives fulfilling the last wish of the deceased person. Sometimes exhumation is carried out for a large-scale transfer of common burial sites to another place.
